Hot take but honestly better than all the bagels I've had in New York city. Got the garlic bagel w/ lox and I'd definitely go back and wait in line

Update!!! I went again and this time ordered a little out of my comfort zone and got the elvis bagel: Banana, almond butter, bacon and honey. I ordered it extra toasted on a sesame bagel. If I could give Bagelsaures 10 stars I would. This bagel sandwich was absolutely DELICIOUS. Here's why: Starting off with the bagel itself. Perfectly toasty and crunchy on the outside, and yet somehow deliciously warm and soft on the inside. Then the toppings. I know it might sound like a strange combination, but its actually one of a kind. The almond butter provides for a nice kind of consistent, relatively neutrally flavored, base whose texture acts like any spread on a bagel. Then, the banana offers a kind of sweetness that you don't see very often in a bagel sandwich. In the comes the crispy bacon, acting bringing to the bagel the most perfect balance in both flavor--a savory component--and texture--a crunch. The honey tops it all off with a little added element of natural sweetness incase the banana wasn't enough. All together, these ingredients create the most captivating flavor and texture profile I've ever experienced in a bagel sandwich. I've been searching and searching for an Elvis type bagel now that I'm in Los Angeles over the summer and have yet to find one...let this speak to the uniqueness of Bagelsaures and its menu!

This place was packed noon on a Saturday and we had to wait in line for 5 min to place our order as things kept selling out. Good; - The bagel was so cheap and simple yet the rosemary cream cheese elevated the experience so much that it was so tasty and memorable. - Nice beautiful seating inside, wooden aesthetic Bad: - Sells out super quick Overall would come back for super unique bagels.

When I arrived at Bagelsaurus, there was a line outside the door. The shop is small and the line moved really quickly! The employees worked hard to deliver orders quickly. I ordered the seeded wheat bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese. I spent less than 20 min from the time I arrived to receiving my order. My bagel was worth the wait! It was crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and the cream cheese was plentiful and delicious!

Delicious vegan cream cheese!!! Really fun add ons and great bagels too. Will be back!

Wow I can't believe I hadn't been to Bagelsaurus after almost 5 years of living in Cambridge. My friends and I showed up around 9:15 on a Saturday morning, so unsurprisingly, there was a pretty long queue that stretched out the door. However, the queue moves very quickly, and they get your food ready in very little time, so we all got our bagels within 20ish minutes of joining the queue. I ordered the eggspañola sandwich on a cheddar garlic bagel, which was super delicious. The over-medium egg was cooked very nicely - a little bland on its own, but went really well with the feta cheese. The bagel itself was not too salty, and the garlic and cheddar were very present without being too heavy or overpowering. Also, the aioli was fantastic - possibly my favourite part of the whole sandwich haha and really tied together the excellent overall flavour profile. (Advice for cilantro-haters like me - not to worry, the green diced leaves are parsley heh) I feel like the quality was roughly commensurate with Black Sheep, although I think I liked the selection of bagel sandwiches more here. Also, I think the price point is a bit higher at Black Sheep compared to here. (But definitely both are excellent options for sure.) Anyway, super super yum and I wish I had come to try Bagelsaurus earlier!! I'll definitely be back more often whenever I'm in the area.

I'm always on the hunt for a good bagel place in the Boston area but actually in Cambridge and Bagelsaurus is one of them! This bagel shop has a wide variety of unique sandwiches and bagels. Went with a friend and we got the BLT sandwich on an Everything bagel and an Eggspañola also on an Everything bagel. The BLT sandwich was probably the best bagel sandwich I've had in the Boston area. It's not a typical BLT! The bacon is candied and the tomatoes were oven-roasted. The texture of the bagel was incredible. I added Spicy Scallion cream cheese as recommended by the cashier and it added so much flavor! The Eggspañola had feta, egg, and we added avocado. The sauce that came on the bagel was great and the ingredients tasted very fresh. The texture was just a little too mushy and I wish there was something crunchy in there. The ambiance is very quaint. I went on a Tuesday morning and it was packed! I recommend going before 10AM if you want all your choices or they sell out! The price is very reasonable with it being about $7-$12 per sandwich. This is cheaper than a lot of other bagel sandwiches in the area. I haven't been back since my first experience but I will definitely be coming back for more!

I was visiting Boston this fall, and we walked about 2 miles from our hotel for these bagels, and they did NOT disappoint. They were so good. The bagels were served really quickly, and while seating is limited, the space is clean and inviting. You might have to eat outside or take it to go, but it's worth it!!! I ordered the salt bagel with scallion cream cheese and a combo bagel, I forgot what it's called but it has the most delicious feta! I had just been to NYC and I can easily say that these are the best bagels I've had on the East coast.

"This is what happens when you get national exposure." Indeed it is, my fellow patron, who said that to me as we were waiting in line for our breakfasts. In case you need more context to this quote, yes, this was us in line, but with a line going towards the door, and growing. Throngs of schooey college kids, to the weary commuter, to everybody in between, lining up to get their mitts on these round mounds of rebound. Thanks to Guy Fieri, and a few other national media outlets, this bagelry, already a Cambridge staple, has now taken on icon status, with everybody boasting how good the bagel is, even those not from the Boston or great New England region. Is the bagel as good as people say? Well, I just came from Montreal, and I live in New York City. Two areas that if you do a bagel incorrectly, you will lose your head. I am happy to report that the bagel not only came out fast and warm, but also tastes pretty delicious. It has the correct ratio of crunch to chew. The fillings are real fresh (the cream cheese is some of the freshest I have ever tasted), and it really leaves a good depth of flavor. Putting dill on the sandwich is a questionable call, but adds an aromatic flavor that a bagel with cream cheese and lox sorely needs. It is not a New York bagel, or a Montreal bagel. It is a bagel category all in its own. For $11, it is a great deal, even if there is nowhere inside to wait or sit. Customers are crammed up against each other and you really have to pay attention to hear when your order is ready for pickup. It is also super close to the T. For a bagel shop that received national exposure, this one deserves it.
